System B was ideal for our two-day conference. The freedom to have a battery-operated speaker to cover an audience of 50+ people doing garden tours was just right. Ed was timely in his communication and his pricing is more than fair. Will use again for events in the Columbus area.

Due to rain, we only got to test the equipment for a sound check but we quickly figured out that it was very easy to set up and use. Pick up and return were easy. Definitely will use again.

I used system A and B for my wedding and it was amazing. The small sound system was great to use for the ceremony and system A was amazing. Ed was so helpful and nice! Would recommend!!

We rented a sound system for an outdoor fund raiser for 300 people in 5 tents Best investment ever - it was powerful enough for everyone to hear. A first for that event. Big speakers on stands! I also rented the wireless microphone for the auctioneer to be able to walk more than 200' thru the crowd. We had the wired one set up just in case but didn't need it.I'm non-techy - but the amp had labels of what to hook up and Ed made sure I understood how it went together when I picked it up. And gave me phone numbers to call if an issue.
A great experience. Professionals who care about your event.
side note- The speakers and equipment box are large - so you really do need an SUV to haul.

To anyone who is looking to rent a nice classy speaker system this is the place to do it. Ed was extremely helpful and his lovely wife too. All I had to do was call them they reserved it months in advance.l never had a problem to work around your schedule for picking up and dropping it back off. Their price is outstanding! I really like them because they're in it for the enjoyment not for the money. I would highly recommend using them . The system we got was the two speaker system with the microphone and it worked excellent and sound was outstanding . For the price and the quality of service I highly recommend him.

Wonderful experience renting speaker and sound system for a funeral. Ed and Janae (Jenay, sp?) were so helpful and explained the system and how to use it perfectly. We rented System A for our wedding of 100 people at the North Bank Pavilion in Columbus in November. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Ed and his wife. We rented System A for my son’s wedding last weekend. It was powerful enough for 200-guest. I would definitely recommend Sound Rental Columbus. I just used Sound Rental Columbus for my own wedding this past weekend. It was everything we needed. If you're unfamiliar with sound equipment, make sure you stay for the demo because they were very informative! The owners made the whole process super easy for us.

I had a presentation to make and found out at the last minute the venue was in a particularly loud location so I had to scramble to get a PA system rented. I found these guys on Google and they were incredibly quick to respond with impressively fair prices AND were super accommodating to my timing needs. They didn't have to go out of their way like they did to help me out so their service is much appreciated. It is a rare thing these days to get this level of personal attention and treatment.

Was excited until we started testing the system and had a blown speaker. Unfortunately with an hour drive both ways we were unable to drive back and forth yet again. No partial refund or anything.

 

Unfortunately David we believe this problem was due to operator error. We demo the speakers when you pick them up and both speakers were working. When the speakers were returned we checked them and they were fine, had they been blown we would have had to charge you because they left in working order. We have rented them twice since your rental and the customers stated they worked perfectly. We are sorry you had a problem, had you called us we could have walked you through what you were possibly doing wrong.

Needed sound equipment for our wedding and came across Sound Rental Columbus. Equipment was fairly priced and Ed did a great job explaining how to set up and use it and made very easy for us to use. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone in need of sound equipment.

Ed and his wife are not only patient and thorough in conducting their business, but are truly kind and trustworthy people to do business with. We used two speakers and their stands as well as a microphone stand for our friend’s wedding reception and it all worked perfectly. We were in a pinch looking for a Soundsystem on a Tuesday and we needed one by Thursday. After looking online and trying to find a sound system that we could rent, We were striking out calling other people. Ed and Jenay were great to work with. Ed was very good to respond with answers to my (sound system uneducated) questions. He was very knowledgeable about what system set up we would need given the size of the venue and number of attendees. We went with Sound System A plus a couple wireless mics. The venue was a large rustic barn wedding venue. The sound was great. Most importantly, Ed was very patient explaining to me how to set things up at the location. It was a piece of cake. Again, I am the father of the Groom with no DJ equipment experience. Overall, I would highly recommend using Sound Rental Columbus. The pricing is very reasonable and pick-up and drop off is a breeze.

Ed was amazing! We rented speakers and lights for our wedding. He was flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. When my sister went to pick up the speakers, Ed had them set up to show her what they should look like. He also helped her pack it into her car and unload it when she dropped it off. After a friend of a friend fell through, my wife and I were very stressed about how we would be able to do the sound for our wedding. We were looking for something affordable, that we could be assured would be loud enough for our wedding venue, to rent just for the weekend, and just a couple weeks before our wedding. He showed us how to set it all up, and it was very simple. My friends had no problem operating it and we ended up only using a fraction of the volume that it was capable of.
