Ed was amazing! We rented speakers and lights for our wedding. He was flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. When my sister went to pick up the speakers, Ed had them set up to show her what they should look like. He also helped her pack it into her car and unload it when she dropped it off. The speakers were loud and easy to use. The lights were so fun and also easy to use as well. We cannot recommend Ed enough!

My company needed a sound system for our holiday party and we were having trouble finding what we were looking for until I stumbled upon Sound Rental Columbus. After a friend of a friend fell through, my wife and I were very stressed about how we would be able to do the sound for our wedding. We were looking for something affordable, that we could be assured would be loud enough for our wedding venue, to rent just for the weekend, and just a couple weeks before our wedding. That's when I found this website, and the prices were very good! I filled out a form and Ed got back to me very promptly. He was so friendly and accommodating, and assured me that he had rented out for our wedding venue before, and the speakers would work great for it! So right he was! He showed us how to set it all up, and it was very simple. My friends had no problem operating it and we ended up only using a fraction of the volume that it was capable of. I would highly recommend these rentals for anyone, for any occasion!

I am the sister of the bride and we couldn’t ask for better equipment for the wedding! Ed was so thorough in explaining how the equipment should be hooked up and used. There were no questions. He gave us his cell in case anything happened, backup batteries, and a corded mic if the wireless mic should happen to not work. Absolutely nothing went wrong and I highly recommend! We rented Sound Equipment A and 2 extra microphones. We appreciated Ed's quick response to our questions and he was upfront about the cost. The pickup and drop-off was easy for us as well. We also had some trouble with the setup, but Ed guided us through FaceTime and also explained how to setup beforehand.

Ed was a breeze to work with. He gave us an extra day to get all the equipment together and set up, which was a great relief since all we had to do is turn it on on the wedding day. He was communicative, and easy to reach. Always answered on the first call! Great reservation system he’s got going too. It’s smart! Never had to worry that he wouldn’t have the equipment we needed for our special day. Highly recommend if you wanna save money on paying a DJ, just rent Ed’s equipment and throw on a playlist and use the wireless mics for speeches. It’s significantly easier and more cost effective. I had picked up some equipment for our company Christmas party. The service was outstanding. Ed and his wife were very professional and kind. Ed gave me clear instructions and time where to be. He gave me a very quick tutorial on how to use the sound system which was very simple. Everything was charged and ready to go. He even loaded the van up for me. I had paid with a credit card which was very convenient that his wife can print the receipt right on the spot. My drop off time, I was very early and it was no issue for them at all to accommodate. The speakers were loud and worked exactly as we needed them. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs sound equipment rental. We will definitely be using them in the future.

We were left scrambling the night before our event when our DJ was not able to attend. I emailed Sound Rental through Google at 9 PM and received a response confirming our reservation at 2 AM!! Pickup was a breeze, everything we would need was included, and they made sure we were comfortable using the equipment before we left. At the event, the equipment was just what we needed for a gym full of elementary students in their Halloween costumes for their Monster Mash! It has been agreed that we will for sure be returning next year for the same wonderful service.

two things that set sound rental over top for me. Quality of the equipment and the customer service provided. I picked the equipment up early afternoon and had about a 1 hour drive to the location. Ed covered the set up very well with me before I left ensuring I knew how to set it up. I had a question later that afternoon and I called Ed. Having been assigned the task of finding a sound system for my son's wedding in Columbus, I was apprehensive - especially since we're from out-of-state. When I found Ed's website, I quickly realized that his System A was exactly what we needed for the backyard mid-sized  wedding. A quick phone call to Ed confirmed that this was the right system at the right price; having reserved the equipment, my mind was at ease that things would go smoothly. When we finally picked up the equipment it was clear that this was professional gear in great condition. When trying to find a set of equipment for my wedding I went through a lot of searching to find the right person to rent from. Having never done my own audio set up I wasn’t exactly sure where to turn. After talking with Ed and Jenay I knew I was going to be perfectly on top of the situation all night. The speakers made the night better than it ever could’ve been without. We used the microphone set up as well and made announcements easy. Ed and Jenay were an absolute pleasure to work with. They are super knowledgeable about the equipment and made it a breeze to understand and set up for our event. Due to the Pandemic, my wife and I had our wedding reception at our 1 year anniversary. Our reception was going to be very laid back and not have a lot of the usual traditions, so we felt a well curated music playlist would suffice instead of a DJ. So, we just needed a good sound system for music. After getting quotes from multiple locations, we settled on Sound Rental Columbus due to the fair price, appropriate equipment option, and responsiveness of Ed. We were allowed to pick up the equipment a day in advance and they were very flexible on what time the equipment needed to be returned. Instructions on picking up, returning, and how to use the equipment were very clear. Ed and his wife were very friendly and very accommodating. There is a lot of stress in wedding planning, but this wasn't one of them. I have a lot of background in audio and video production and I was very satisfied with this rental experience.
